Measure a similar style garment (shirt, pant, or jumper/skirt) that fits them well. With
the garment buttoned:
Waist - measure one side of the garment waist and double the number
Inseam - measure the garment from the crotch to the hem
Chest - with the shirt buttoned, measure the garment chest from one arm hole to the other and double the number

- With relaxed arms down at the sides, measure around the fullest part of the chest/bust and straight across the back.
- Normally this would be measured around the natural waist, but many want to wear their clothes about 2-3" lower. Measure where the waistband would be worn.
- Measure around the fullest part of the seat/hips while standing with heels together, flat on the floor.
- Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle bone.
- Measure from where the garment will be worn to the bottom of the ankle bone.
- Measure around the base of the neck.
- Place hand on hip and bend the elbow at a 90° angle, then measure from the center of the back of the neck, across the shoulder, and over the elbow to the wrist.
